What might happen if more and more people have a deep and personal awakening to soul? To life in the afterlife?

Examining how end-of-life experiences and hypnotic techniques such as Past Life Regression and Life Between Lives Hypnotherapy can be used to give a personal glimpse of life in the afterlife, Savarna explores how the resulting paradigm shift in our understanding of Self could change our experience of life and death, alter our medical practices and enrich the ways we live, love, forgive and grow as spiritual beings.

Drawn at an early age to the study of healing arts and spiritual traditions, Savarna left home as a teenager to focus on, mysticism, yoga and holistic health. Later, exploring the power of symbol and image with people who did not speak, she created an Art Therapy program at the University of California, Santa Cruz and won honors in her study. In 1987 she was one of the first people to do graduate work in psychology on the effects of prayer and earned a Masters degree in Transpersonal Psychology focusing on The Ways People Pray.

Continuing to honor the richness of the non-linear mind, she explored many methods that tap this beautiful inner capacity. As a seasoned hypnotherapist, her studies were enriched by training with the Michael Newton Institute for Life Between Lives Hypnotherapy where she soon became a case reviewer for new students in this field. She now serves on the board of directors for The Newton Institute and is trained as a teacher in this method. She maintains an active private practice in Healing, Regression and LBL work in Santa Cruz, Ca.

As a long-time Hospice Chaplain, she has provided spiritual support and end-of-life education to people of diverse backgrounds and experience. Being with over a thousand people in this universal yet intimate journey of coming to the end of life has been humbling and enlivening, sometimes awe inspiring and always educational. As a member of an ethics panel for end-of-life issues, she has witnessed the complexities and conundrums which arise when working within the modern medical model.

Savarna draws on over 40 years of spiritual exploration in both ancient and emerging traditions. Grateful for the teachings along the way, she expresses, "It is exciting to be in this time of great change and to gather together with others who are helping to bring soul to the forefront and bridge the scientific and medical with the metaphysical."

Savarna appears with Dr Raymond Moody in the Russian documentary "On the Threshold of Eternity" and is a contributing author to Rich Martini's "It's a Wonderful Afterlife."
